Description
I took a black & white approach to Akasha's flashback memory tale. So it kind of has an older look, and is distinguished from the main story. It's not often people get to see what a Lich look like when they where living.
The cult he is referring to is 'Cult of the Damned' in Warcraft lore. Wrath of the Lich King expansion for WoW seems to go into a bit more depth on how it operates once you get into the Icecrown area. You can do daily quests that tell you about the brainwashing tonics they ingest and rituals they go thru. Yes, I actually read some of the quest text when I'm playing.

I like this story, should be interesting to see where it ends up. And y'know, I have something vaguely similar unpublished, the only relation to this is that it involves a Lich, a Draenei, and a Crpyt Lord on the run from just about everything... But, it is a long way from completion, and in need of editing. Wish I had the ability to give it it's own pictures like this here, though.
